Past NSBE Positions Held: Secretary (2016 – present), Parliamentarian (2011 – present)

Plans for CKY and it’s role in the community: I see our chapter growing stronger this year and accomplishing our goal to positively impact our community. Through continued community service projects and encouraging our young people to pursue STEM discipline areas, we will make a difference.

Hometown: Lexington, KY

Education: University of Kentucky- BS Mechanical Engineering 2008, Georgia Tech- MS Mechanical Engineering 2009

Past NSBE Positions Held: CKY President (2011-2015), CKY PCI CHair (2010-2013), Region 3 PCI Chair (2009-2010), and University of Kentucky Secretary (2007-2008)

Plans for CKY and it’s role in the community: I see NSBE CKY as the “go to” organization for minority technical professionals here in Lexington. I think that CKY is a crucial piece to the puzzle to save our youth and build out future. Our community needs to see us making a way for the future generations. Alongside other professional organizations, collegiate NSBE Chapters and continuing NSBE pipeline, CKY can be the change we want to see.

Education: Bachelor Science in Industrial Engineering Georgia Tech

Plans for CKY and it’s role in the community – As the collegiate chair, I hope to bring resources, knowledge, and inspiration to college students looking to level up into the professional sphere. I hope to build a repore within the community, UK and UL, mainly, facilitating that pipeline of their best, brightest, and most inspired and committed to center stage where they can blossom.
